Bruening at the Bash 3.0
Hey friends! If you happen to be anywhere in or around the northeast corner of the Buckeye State next Friday evening (April 18), be sure to stop in at the third annual Indie Author Bash, hosted by Pretty Good Books, an eclectic and very cool indie bookstore located in Ashtabula, OH. Flinch Books co-founder John Bruening will be on hand, with a table full of books from the Flinch catalog – including all three installments of his Midnight Guardian series – as well as a few books by other small-press publishers that feature his short stories and essays.
The Bash has grown a bit since its inception in 2023. The latest numbers we’re hearing for authors scheduled to appear at this year’s event are north of fifty – which is why Pretty Good Books is moving the party out of the shop and down the street to the local VFW Hall at 4102 Main Avenue in Ashtabula. This will allow more room for food trucks, beverage vendors and other amenities. All that and John’s smiling face too! Come on, what more could a Flinch fan ask for?!
Things kick off at 6pm and go all the way to 10pm. Don’t leave our boy hanging all evening. Stop in and say hello!
