Flinch Going Motown!

First of all, let’s be perfectly clear: Despite what the headline above might suggest, we have no plans to record a collection of Flinch Books renditions of hits by the Temptations or The Four Tops anytime soon. But we can tell you that Flinch co-founder Jim Beard will be at Motor City Comic Con next weekend (November 8 thru 10).

Jim will be parked in the Artist Alley with a full spread of Flinch titles that include some of the best pulp tales you’ll find anywhere in the known universe of small press fiction. (And if you ask nicely, he’ll answer any questions you might have about our soon-to-be-published anthology of groovy rock and roll adventures, THE LEMON HERBERTS: WORLD TOUR.)

So if you get to the end of next week and find yourself in that corner of the world where southern Michigan, northwestern Ohio, northeastern Indiana, and Windsor, Ontario, all come together, stop in at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, MI (about 25 miles northwest of downtown Detroit) and meet Jim live and in person. And while you’re there, maybe add a Flinch title or two to that stack of comics that you’re likely to pick up at the convention.
